Subject: Newbie Morph injection question

JagoBC ( ) posted Thu, 01 July 2021 at 9:46 PM · edited Fri, 08 March 2024 at 11:35 PM

I recently updated to P11 and am trying to start using my M4 which I've had forever but never used. It loads ok, but when I go to the pose library and select morphs, the wheels turns (indicating something is happening) but nothing changes on the model (no dials are added, etc.)

Can someone walk me thru or link to a walkthru of installing m4 with p11 and injecting morphs?

(Honestly this whole morphs separate thing is why I stuck with M2 so long!)

Thanks!

When you installed M4 and morphs, did you use the DzCreateExPFiles-M4.bat and DzCreateExPFiles-M4Gens.bat files that initializes the morphs? If not they won't work properly.

Consider me insane if you wish, but is your reality any better?

So after moving all the files to the runtime, do I run the bat files, or does that install them? In the same folder, there is a file called DzCreateExPFiles(dot)exe . Do I run that too?

(Also, I read all the read mes and none mentioned running bat files!!!)

MAC or Windows? Where that execution file is located there should be a series of bat files depending on the models installed. After every morph package is installed the bat files should be run to prep the models for morph injection. If you working on a MAC then those bat files are actually command files for that system. Regardless, those files need to be run before attempting to inject morphs. Also, those files need to be in the same runtime folder as the models otherwise the morphs will not work properly, if at all.
