Subject: That pesky body circle

It always manages to interfere with clicking on various body parts.

It seems to turn off when the Direct Manipulation tool is selected. Any way to turn it off for good?

Display --> Figure Circle?

Oh wow, that's how simple it was.
Thanks for the tip TK!

In a Python .py script, to turn the Figure Circle display on and off for the currently selected figure:

poser.ProcessCommand(1460)

If it is already on, running this command as a line in the script will turn it off. And visa versa.

Has anybody ever found any use for the body circle? It's one of the first things I turn off in preferred scene. I don't recall ever using it.

I only use it when I'm zoomed out and need to easily grab things to move around. Once I'm done moving stuff, I turn them off.
