Maybe I missed this. Does Poser 11 support nVidia RTX3070 GPU's? I just installed one and it's running great, but when I try to render with it, all I get is a black screen. There are no settings in Poser I can find regarding the GPU, other than the dropdown in the Superfly Menu. My card is listed, I can select it, but the render fails. Any thoughts?

That is a really nice graphic card :D Would love to have a RTX card as well.

I know RTX support was added to Poser 12, but never heard of it being added to Poser 11 as well. Was there any public (official) announcement that Rendo has ever done that? That would be the first thing I would check.

The last public release of Poser 11 was 11.3.818, which I believe was released in spring or summer 2020. The RTX 3070 came out in late Oct 2020.

I also have an RTX 3070, but like you I see the card as an option in the dropdown list, but it's not rendering. I think for Poser 11 you'll have to use CPU rendering. Or take advantage of Poser 12's ability to use the RTX and Optix rendering, it's uber fast!

In addition to what Deecey said about RTX support in Poser 12, it also brings Intel OIDN AI-Denoiser, and Adaptive Sampling that drastically reduces render time, and is super efficient on removing image noise. Not to mention the new Cycles 2 engine, where the render performance is such that Poser 11 seems to take forever to render the same scene in comparison.

Exact same GPU that I have - doesn't work in Poser11, you'll have to render in your CPU. It does work in Poser12, with and without denoising, and with and without Optix rendering.
