Subject: How do you remove the posing dome from Poser 12?

Rembrandt42 ( ) posted Sat, 17 April 2021 at 7:32 AM · edited Mon, 25 December 2023 at 8:04 AM

Yeah. What it says in the subject line. So far my answer has been to make it invisible. Is that the proper way when I want to load something that won't fit inside the dome?

Try loading the developer's workspace scene. It has a flat ground.

You can also save out the scene @RedPhantom suggested as a secondary startup scene, so you don't have to make that change each time you don't want to use the Construct.

It happens I don't like the Construct, so I saved the Developer's Workspace as my main Startup Scene. That way I can add the Construct, or similar environment, when needed.

For those finding this thread in the future, the Developer Scene (the empty Poser scene with no Construct Dome) is found in the Poser 11 Library in:

Scene|Poser 11 Content|Poser 11 Environments|

In the runtime it's at:

|Poser 11 Content|Runtime|Libraries|Scene|Poser 11 Environments|Developers Workspace.pzz

I assume it will be much the same for Poser 12.
