does it do it if you render just regularly, or with an area render, using superfly of course? If it does, you might want to post your eye textures here. I'm not sure what figure that is, but it could be issues with the sclera (white), eye surface (the coating covering the eye), and the tear line if it's there.

Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me. To answer your question, This only happens when I do a queue render in superfly or a background render in superfly. When I render in real time (or area render), it renders fine. I've changed all the specular/ambient settings in the material room. It renders fine in real time. It renders fine in firefly (all types of renders). It happens to all the characters I've tried it on (all are based on Michael 4) in superfly queue render.
I believe the issue is in the rendering (queue rendering vs real time rendering).
Any ideas?
Thanks again.
A screencap of the Material Room for those textures would be helpful to duplicate the issue. I have moved away from using the PoserSurface for any Superfly rendering unless I absolutely need to. It could sound like a P11 bug. Unfortunately, any further corrective development on P11 has come to a halt.
Compare the scatter group number on the pbr node with the scatter group number on the eye white texture. I'm not sure what figure that is to know what exactly it's called. The 2 numbers need to be different. Also, check if there are any other materials covering the eyes, like eye surface. Make sure the scatter group number for each is different.

My recommendation for optimizing the Material Room settings is to use Snarly's EZSkin 3 found here. Read the instructions that come with it. It should eliminate that problem, I haven't seen any differences between Render Queue, Background Render, or regular SuperFly render with it.

Hi All,
When I use the render queue (or area render) using superfly, the characters have very bright (almost glowing) eyes. See attached. When I change to firefly, the queue seems to work okay, but I won't always want to use firefly. And when I use superfly in real time, the eyes look fine. It's happened with multiple characters, so I don't believe it's the texture or model. I put the specular to 0, just in case, and it didn't change anything.
Has anyone seen this issue before? Is there a way to address it?
Thanks, John.
