I am getting pop ups appearing before I can access Marketplace or Forums

Are these intended or some injected adware ?

Google Ads has a new display method called Vignette ads. The Ad service just started implementing it. If you have any concerns about any ads on the site please reach out to our Marketing Manager username Schellefire.

CHMedia - thanks, no worries, just making sure it's all in order and not some outside interloper.

I keep getting them when I add something to my cart - this isn't encouraging me to shop.

I thought my computer had a virus. I came here to see if anyone else had the problem. Makes the whole shopping experience feel like a scam. Please disable it.

Really hate it. ?

I would also like it disabled. I hate Google's ads, and is why I would never install and/or use the Chrome browser.

Then again, I hate Google for anything, and have used a better Search site for years now.

I also hate them. I don't understand why they are all over the site, even the commercial parts. It is a comercial site, we already have banners for the vendors/products sold here. I don't mind those, but getting third party ads as if this were an amateur blog or invasive (but free) newspaper were the ads is the actual business is something else. And being a pop up that looks like a virus, much worst.

they are from google and they can be deleted but not prevented. I am using Edge which surprised to have nuisance popups from google. I totally dislike google also also, and so many browsers are using a base google chrome browser with their additions

Not from using a Google browser. They seem to originate from Renderosity. I get them on an iPad using iPad browser, Safari.

As you say, there are plenty of ads on this site already. These pop ups are quite objectionable.

I'm getting them on Firefox. Look guys, I come here to shop your place. Anything you want to show me that is on sale here is fair game. Do NOT show me other people's advertising. I know you consider it just another revenue stream but you aren't Facebook, this place isn't free, and it's frankly going to annoy a lot of your customers. So how much does your revenue have to decline from lost sales before you realize that ad stream is not free for you?

I want to amend my previous statement a bit. Having other advertising in the store is a problem, particularly popups or anything I have to get rid of to actually see what I want to buy. The other parts of the site are basically free and do need to be supported, though hopefully store sales can do it. In any case I'm not going to complain about outside advertising on the galleries or forums.

But I am a prime member, and that is a contribution directly to the site rather than to a product. I also wouldn't mind helping to support server costs for the other areas, at the very least, how about coming up with something like prime where you can pay not to see any ads outside of ones for products in the store?
