Subject: Helpful Tip for Free Stuff Uploaders (Daz Studio)

As a Free Stuff tester, the most common issue I run into is missing files. This can happen even when the uploader has carefully tested their product – all files are present in their library, so they can't always tell if they've left one out of their zip file.

A simple solution is to use a test library. All you have to do is create a new folder on your computer, then add it as a base directory in Daz Studio:

Once you've created the directory, put the contents of your zip file in there. It's important to use the same folder structure you would in your regular library (data, people, props, runtime, etc.).

With a separate directory, you can test your item and find out exactly what's missing (if anything). It won't pull files from your main library – it's basically like a clean install.

Hope you find this helpful! Please let me know if you have any questions.

How do I submit an Freebie for review.? Do I use a New Post and should I use a zip file? I am setting up a test area as indicated in your post.
