Hello, I imported the basic character "genesis 3 female" for testing, there is no problem with the characters, there is a problem with the anatomical elements, I tested with three different genital and the problem remains the same, following tutorials I managed to import the genitals, but the problem is that in any case the genitals are considered as an external element, for example "as a cloth" so it is not integrated into the body and has no sliders to be controlled, I would like to know if you have planned an update to correct this problem? thank you and sorry again for my English

hello, thank you for your answer, it allows you to import the morphs, but it doesn't correct the integration problem to the body, if there was an option to remove and merge the vertices it would be perfect, if it exists could you tell me the procedure to follow or tell me if it is planned in the next update? thanks again

Hi pruiz, users are not allowed to change the topology of CC3 character base at the moment. May we know your use case? Why will you need this function? Thanks!

I'm not the poster you were replying to, but I'm REALLY glad I saw this thread before spending the kind of money that CC3 and Iclone cost.
My use case is... I want characters that aren't Ken and Barbie Dolls. They need to look right naked. There are anatomical additions you can add to DAZ characters, both made by DAZ and by third parties, but they attach via geograph it appears. To make the blendshapes go into unity correctly, I actually do a merge in DAZ, which discards the original geometry and seamlessly welds the genitals where they're supposed to be. Perfect. But it appears that would totally break CC3?
And the screenshots I've seen of people trying to import the genitals as 'clothes' and then hide the necessary faces manually don't seem to line up right... and don't treat the body as one surface for skin manipulation.
It seems like CC is just wholly unable to do this satisfactorily?

Hi dreadpiratebob, I'm afraid so. Merging or removing topology is not allowed. Instead, some of the content developers offer this solution by cloth, morph & avatar, etc.
Take this one for example, https://marketplace.reallusion.com/character-creator/author/Bigboss

That's exactly what I want to be able to make! What do I need to do to be able to make models like the content creator you linked?
The website seems to imply here - https://www.reallusion.com/character-creator/game.html That I CAN create CC characters starting with a custom FBX but this conversation seems to imply that, no, if I'm not starting with an unmodified DAZ3D model, I can't? Is there a way to bring in an FBX model and rig it manually?
I already have a lot of DAZ content I've collected over the years, so paying a bunch of money for your software and then starting over paying a bunch of money to your content marketplace isn't something I'm interested in... but being able to use the LOD and optimization features of CC before passing it to Iclone for animation DOES seem like a workflow that would be worth the money, if I had any faith I wouldn't be back at zero on content?
Reallusion does not propose any solution to correct this problem (and it is a real problem!) give us a solution, your characters are well created somewhere, right? please tell us how to do this! the solutions you give us are inadequate, I feel like I'm stealing and this is the case as long as I can't use your software ! at least have the honesty to indicate on your site that the genital parts are not imported correctly

@dreadpiratebob Once Daz characters & Daz content assets have been converted to be CC compatible content via "Transformer" function, you can use the polygon optimization feature, and send them to Unity or Unreal with our auto-setup tools. The only thing be noted that you should follow Daz EULA to purchase the interactive license if needed.
@aramenes Sorry to hear that. We are not intended to cheat anyone, and we don't think we did. May you kindly let us know why you felt this? I can't find the misleading words from our webpage. https://www.reallusion.com/character-creator/morph-outfit.html
Thank you!
when you say that daz 3d characters are fully exportable to cc3 it's not true, daz pro bundles have genitals parts and genitals parts are not exported correctly to cc3, export them as clothing is absolutely not suitable, I already sent an email explaining with pictures and the only answer I got is "we understand the problem but we won't fix it" so thanks for scamming me, you lost a lot of customers thanks to me;) the worst thing is that the only thing I asked for was to specify on your site that genital parts are not exported, which is to avoid other people spending money for nothing, and the fact that this does not change proves that reallusion is dishonest

Hi aramenes,
We were not being so rude as you described, but we will notify the corresponding team to add a note on webpage. Thank you for your suggestions.
Hello, I am looking for somebody who can make realistic female genitalia that has morphs for the Reallusion characters? I can send you .fbx file with the character and you can edit it and send me back, but the problem is, that I should be able to add it back to the Character creator for dressing her, add make up etc. Then I should be able to export this character to Unity, for building the game. I was trying to add genitals from DAZ as accessories, but they are not working in Unity, they dance separately from character, if I add them as cloth they are stretching and do not look like genitals. So, they should be a part of the character body.
Iclone/CC3 is great Character software
My thanks to Reallusion!! ?
Daz now has special export plugin to Unity(free)
why not just send your Daz Characters & their grafted on sex organs directly from Daz studio to unity and animate them in Unity.
There are some excellent Character animation plugins for Unity like "Umotion Pro" & "Final IK."

Yes, CC3 is really excellent, and their characters with realistic skin are just perfect, this is why I prefer use them, DAZ characters are also very nice, but not so realistic. So, basically the issue is, CC3 characters are perfect but without genitals, the DAZ characters are not so perfect, but have genitals. This is why I wrote my post, I am looking for a person who can edit CC3+ bacis character, in blender for example, add her genitals with morphs, so after I can import her back to CC, dress her and use in Unity )

hm. so you are searching for things like a "Template" Charakter? if you still searching, let's talk about, i have a few possibilitys. But: this is not really cheap.
in some Things i can help you to do this your own. if i do for you, will take a amount of Money. over the other Things we need to Talk in this Case.
and yes: Who ever told: "CC3 is really a Waste of Money"
no - it is not really a waste of Money, it is exorbitant expensive like an Amergeddon. and the most "Content Creators" are very very expensive to. Just to have the Basics for some skins, and differently shaped Charakters, will cost you more than 1000$ also : Daz is for free, CC3 is starting to get Money from you, just if you want it.
... Iclone is next. Just: for everyone want to work with, watch the "Offers" there is nearly nothing lower than 600$. The Next point is absolutly "LOL", because: you will "Save in an Offer" 50%. Thats everytime the Way, some one want to sell you a Thing, not really worth his Price. Now: CC3 can do a lot of things, but it is massivly overprised.
and: yeah, Barbi and Ken - lol - that s the Truth.
Daz studio is only good for still portraits and Pinup girls if that is all you ever do then stay in the little Daz studio box and render your stills.
The animation tools in daz Studio are a cruel joke with no proper IK solver
Yes Iclone is expensive you need to spend a MINIMUM of $400 USD ( Iclone basic & CC3 Pipeline $200 each).
But you get a powerful Character animation toolset with Autodesk May human IK and you can even use Blender for a better rendering environment.
