That's not bad at all for less than 2 hours! I think your base mesh could serve as an excellent starting point for a high poly version!

**Andy: **Great looking head! It is a difficult shape but I think you captured it very well :)
**LesterJames: **Really nice pike! Looks like very clean modeling which is not easy with an organic shape!

Some weeks ago we made a fishing lure but what good is a lure without a fish? So, the theme this session is a northern pike (esox lucius)! It's big, it's hungry, it's loaded with sharp teeth and you have 3 hours to model one!
Weekly Speed Modeling Session #93:
Northern pike
Start:
Friday August 14
End:
Friday August 21
Modeling Time Allowed:
3 hours
Also remember to visit our special Sticky thread, the Renderosity Cinema 4D Forum Speed Modeling Sessions, for more information as well as links to all sessions!
Best of luck and remember to have fun!

**Weekly Speed Modeling Sessions - General Rules:
**
Each Speed Modeling Session will generally start Fridays and continue for 1 week to the following Friday
Each week the moderators will post a theme or subject for you to model, with the time frame in which it should be done
Model your image in the time given, then render (render times are not included in modeling time)
These speed modeling sessions focus on modeling only, so texturing is optional and not included in modeling time
Post a render of your model in this thread stamped with name, nickname and time spent
You can dispose of the time as you feel - model 30 minutes one day and 1 hour the next, or do all hours in one sweep. The total time is what counts
You can enter as many models as you like, as long as each model is within the specified timeframe and does not use parts from previous models (all entries has to be modeled from scratch)
You don't have to model realistic or even existing objects, you are free to use your imagination but the given theme should be recognisable
