Experts, Attend Special Events and More
SAN RAFAEL, Calif., July 17, 2008 At SIGGRAPH 2008, Autodesk (Booth
#501) will showcase the most recent releases of its 3D solutions
and compositing applications, as well as the latest versions of the
recently acquired Autodesk ImageModeler and Autodesk Stitcher
software.
In addition, Autodesk is holding a series of special events
including MasterClasses, an Autodesk FBX Technical Talk,
international product demonstrations, an education summit for 3D

"Recent advances in computing technology are enabling greater
levels of interaction, simulation and immersion in 3D
environments," said Marc Petit, Autodesk's Media &
Entertainment senior vice president. "The creative processes
for film, games and television are increasingly 'virtualized' and
digital entertainment creation has become highly technical. At
SIGGRAPH, we will demonstrate how Autodesk is driving the change
from highly technical to more creative processes, which will allow
artists to freely experiment and better express their ideas in the
digital world."
