**Welcome to the
**Renderosity Cinema 4D Forum
Speed Modeling Sessions

Here you will find links to all speed modeling threads in the Cinema 4D forum as a well as general information and rules.

General information

Each week we will in the forum announce a certain topic or theme for you to practise your modeling skills on. But you will only have a certain amount of time to do it, from 1 to 3 hours, hence the name speed modeling. The theme will run for 1 week during wich time you will upload entries to the thread. You can have as many entries as you like, just make sure each is original. This is not a competition or a contest so there will be no prizes involved, we are just doing it for fun.

General rules

  • You have from 1 to 3 hours to model the theme (specific timeframe can be found in the relevant thread)
  • Each session will run for 1 week
  • New themes will be posted every Friday by the moderators
  • You can dispose of the time as you feel - model 30 minutes one day and 1 hour the next, or do all hours in one sweep. The total time is what counts
  • Model your image in the time given, then render (render times are not included in modeling time)
  • You can enter as many models as you like, as long as each model is within the specified timeframe and does not use parts from previous models (all entries has to be modeled from scratch)
  • You don't have to model realistic or even existing objects, you are free to use your imagination but the given theme should be recognisable
  • These speed modeling sessions focus on modeling only, so texturing is optional and not included in modeling time
  • All images should be stamped with name, nickname and total time, it should look something like this:
