I was thrilled with the purchase of my Anime Doll from Studio Maya, but I immediately began to have problems finding appropriate background images that matched the anime style of art and animation. I started making my own images and this package of watercolor-style backgrounds is the result. Asian Watercolor Backgrounds is a set of 50 watercolor-style backgrounds set in the exotic far east. All images are 1008 x 720 (or 720 x 1008) pixels in size and 72 dpi. They are perfect for digital art but are not intended for print. The images are ideal for anime and cartoon-style renders because they are created in soft, pastels that will allow your anime and cartoon characters to really stand out in the foreground. This also gives your images a much more authentic cartoon-style look since many of today�s professional anime and cartoon artists continue to use watercolors for their own backgrounds. The images themselves are not actual watercolor paintings. They are digital photo manipulations created in the style of animation backgrounds.
