Arlena,
the photorealistic character for DAZ 3Ds' Stephanie (86 real hi-res photos
used!), was originaly based on real person, Czech singer Alena
Bartáková. Later it has got its own personality and face, so it was
renamed from Alena and was created as a standalone character Arlena.

| Review By: sandoppe | Arlena is great Coleus :) I started working with her over the weekend....what a character she is! :)
There was something about the face that prompted me to buy her in the first place. As you recall, I didn't even have Stephanie at the time! First off she reminds me a bit of my Aunt Evelyn (a bohemian, of course!) but it wasn't until tonight that it occured to me that she also reminds me a bit of the Ernestine telephone operator character from the old Rowan and Martin Show...."one ringee dingee, two ringee dingee..." followed by her tradmark "snorting" laugh. I laughed out loud when I remembered that. I think maybe it's the expressions you've included that brought that to mind. Now that I think of it....that's not a bad idea for a rendering!! :)
I do have more "dignified" things in mind for Arlena though. She will represent the coming to america of my great grandmother and her early years here; of my grandmother and her life on the farm. Not your typical renderings, but the type of things I enjoy portraying and for which I think Arlena is uniquely qualified :)
Thank you Coleus for a great and unique characterization of Steph that I will enjoy working with for some time to come:)
